While I understand that I have more than most people, some days-I just want to scream about Neutropenia. Living with neutropenia day to day can be difficult. Many deal wtih symptoms ranging from fatigue to mouth sores to fevers, and more. Some days are good and life is great-and you want to participate in things you love-and that take energy to do. Other days, the fatigue overwhelms you and all you can do is try to get through your day as best as you can. And sometimes, the fatigue is so drastic that it limits you to bed rest. I hate those days. While I understand my body needs to rest, I hate not being able to do what I love-and earn my keep as others may say (work and play).

I have struggled with all kinds of days this past week. Of course, the great day may have led me to do more than I should have-and may have led to the day I had to rest in bed. Even after years of living with Neutropenia, I am still need learning to listen to my body and do what I can, whether that is work, play, or rest.

Hope you are doing well. Take care.

Good evening,

So, I had my acupuncture appointment today. That went well.
But, I also picked up the herbal remedy that he created to see if it would help my blood. A pharmacist made it. It's a fine powder and I have to mix it with water. It didn't smell bad so I thought it would be fine. It was gross. So, I added a tea bag to make it tolerable. Next time, I will make it with less water and just gulp it down!

I am very tired today and my pain is significant. My temp is down to 99 so that's good. Resting and goign to bed soon.

I'll keep you posted on how the herbs are working.

Take care.
